The Ford Ranger Stage 2-Tow upgrade is purpose-built for vehicles regularly towing heavy loads. It includes the installation of a larger front-mount intercooler to improve cooling efficiency and reliability.

We begin with a comprehensive diagnostic scan to ensure your Ranger is in peak condition for tuning. A dyno baseline run follows, capturing crucial data for our software engineers to create your bespoke ECU calibration.

Next, our trained technician installs an HPD front-mount intercooler kit. While the standard intercooler is positioned at the front of the vehicle, its smaller size and less durable rubber hoses are not ideal for sustained heavy towing or hard driving. Our heavy-duty, larger-capacity intercooler and silicone piping kit delivers superior cooling, controls heat under load, and provides far greater hose strength for long-term reliability.

For cleaner operation, we install HPD’s catch can to capture oil mist before it reaches the inlet manifold—preventing carbon buildup, protecting engine components, and improving efficiency.

Once the hardware is in place, we perform a custom ECU tune on the dyno, using the latest tuning software to fine-tune engine parameters in real time for maximum power, torque, and fuel efficiency.

The process concludes with an extensive road test, making final adjustments to ensure optimal drivability in all conditions. You’ll also receive a detailed dyno graph comparing your Ranger’s performance before and after the upgrade, clearly showcasing the dramatic improvements achieved.
